You might be wondering, “Why Verus Ridge?”
Verus is a word of Latin origin meaning “true, truthful, genuine, or actual.” Sometimes, getting to the truth about ourselves and living in a genuine way is some of the hardest work we will ever do! It can feel like standing at the base of a mountain ridge, looking to the top. One might think, “I can’t do that.” However, we often can, and we do it by focusing on one step at a time and accepting help from others. The effort is worth it when you reach the summit you’ve been climbing toward.
